Sr Research Manager, Medtronic
Dr. Michael Eggen received his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, and is currently a Research Manager and Technical Fellow at Medtronic. His research interests include, heart failure therapies, cardiac pacing/leadless pacing and the electrode tissue interface, and the use of isolated heart models for research and development of implantable medical devices. As an industry scientist and adjunct professor, Michael has continued to collaborate with the University of Minnesota in research, medical device innovation, publications, and teaching.
