Associate Professor, Co-Director, Program in Human Anatomy

 


Dr. Cook has a master’s degree in physical therapy from California State University and a PhD in anatomy from Michigan State University. As an assistant professor in the Department of Integrative Biology and Physiology, University of Minnesota, Dr. Cook teaches anatomy to graduate and undergraduate students. Dr. Cook’s publications cover a variety of topics, including pelvic floor changes with childbirth and aging, methods for using human cadavers for simulating clinical conditions and producing 3D-printed models from cadaveric dissections. Dr. Cook also co-authored Chapter 4 of The Handbook of Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, and Devices, on Anatomy of the Thoracic Wall, Pulmonary Cavities, and Mediastinum (editor Paul Iaizzo).
