Principal Research and Development Engineer at Medtronic, Inc.
Jorge is currently employed by Medtronic, Inc as a research and development engineer in the Structural Heart and Aortic division. He graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a bachelor’s in biomedical engineering. He completed his doctoral studies at the Visible Heart Laboratories at the University of Minnesota. Jorge’s research interests are studying the anatomical and structural properties of the heart valves that impact transcatheter valve repair/replacement devices and procedures.
