Dr. Howard received his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minnesota with previous degrees in aerospace engineering and physics. His doctoral research at the Visible Heart Laboratory included starting the lab’s 3D printed and digital library of cardiac anatomy. He also started the Care Prints program with Dr. McIver and a donor’s generosity through the Fairview Hospital to provide 3D printed models for pre-surgical planning in pediatric heart surgery and patient education.
Brian currently works for Medtronic as a Research Scientist in a variety of research and development roles. He is also much funnier than your responses to his jokes will suggest.
