Brad J. Martinsen, PhD, is currently Director of Scientific Affairs, Medical & Clinical at Abbott. Formerly, Dr. Martinsen was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Minnesota (U of M), as well as a lecturer for the Gross Human Anatomy and Embryology Medical School Course in the Department of Integrative Biology & Physiology at the U of M Medical School. Additionally, he held an American Heart Association Postdoctoral Fellowship in the U of M Department of Pediatric Cardiology and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the California Institute of Technology (CALTECH). He earned his PhD in molecular, cellular, and developmental neurobiology at the University of California, Irvine and CALTECH.
