Anthony is a Program Director and Technical Fellow in the Cardiac Ablation Solutions operating unit at Medtronic, with extensive experience in the cardiac electrophysiology space. As a systems engineer for most of his career, he specializes in elicitation of user needs, feasibility evaluation, requirements development, and validation of medical device products. Currently, he is leading a program to expand the indications for the Affera Sphere-9 catheter to include treatment of ventricular arrhythmia. Anthony's previous roles at Medtronic and St. Jude Medical/Abbott focused on implanted devices such as pacemakers, defibrillators, and left-ventricular assist systems, as well as cardiac ablation and mapping systems. He holds a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University.
